The Nevada Supreme Court recently ruled that property owners are entitled to the interest earned on money placed by a government in a condemnation deposit. That is a foot in the right direction when it comes to protecting private property. We hope it won't be long before the local and state governments drop the nasty habit of abusing eminent domain for "redevelopment" projects.
